Ashwin Navratri is celebrated during the Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month. These days are celebrated to the different Hindu Goddesses. The first ten days of Shukla Paksha are celebrated as Navratri. On the eighth day, Durga Ashtami is celebrated and on the tenth day, festival of Dussehra is celebrated.
Navratri days fall two time a year. First, when the winter season ends and summer season starts. Second(Ashwin Navratri), when the summer season is about to end and winter season is about to start.
