Types of Crackers during Diwali

Crackers or Fireworks are an important part of Diwali festival. Everyone enjoy bursting crackers, no matter if you are old or young. When crackers are lighted they give out high intensity light which signifies the true essence of Diwali – ‘Victory of Light over Darkness‘.

There are many types of crackers available to enjoy the festival of Diwali. Let us see the most popular ones:-

Fuljhadi

Fuljhadi is the most popular firework during the festival of Diwali. It has become a ‘must have’ cracker during the festival of Diwali due to its magnificent sparkling.

Fuljhadi consists of a long stick, which is burnt from one end. As it burns down it gives out beautiful sparkles of fire which looks amazing. The sparkles are present in different colours.

Anar

Anar or Fountain cracker is another popular firework. It comes in conical shape, which is burnt at the top of the cone. Upon burning, Anar sends up dazzling sparkle high up in the sky similar to a fountain, making it an amazing sight to watch.

Anar comes in many different sizes, the bigger ones sends the sparkes higher up.

Rocket

A large variety of Rockets are burnt during the festival of Diwali. Every type of rocket makes different kinds of designs high up in the sky.

Rocket is burnt at the bottom and it travels high up in the sky, where it bursts making beautiful designs and sparkle. On the night of Diwali, thousands of rockets light up the sky with their magnificent glow, indicating the win of light over darkness.

Chakkar

Chakkar is also known as Ground Spinner or Chakra or Chakkarginni. Chakkars are very popular among children. These crackers spin at a very high speed giving out dazzling sparkles all around them.

These chakkars require a plain ground to spin at high speeds.

Mirchi or Siecos

Mirchi or Sciecos make loud noise when bursted. There are many variety of these crackers. Some make less noise others make more noise when burnt. These crackers are popular among young generation.
