Govardhan puja is done on the next day of Diwali. Govardhan hill is worshipped and variety of dishes are offered to Lord Krishna. In 2021, Govardhan puja will be done on 5th,Nov,2021 in India.
Govardhan puja is also known by the name Annakoot puja or Annakut puja. On this day, Lord Krishna lifted the Govardhan hill on his little finger to protect the people of Braj from the continuous rains caused by Lord Indra.
