Lohri is celebrated every year on the day before Makar Sakranti. The festival, marks the end of winter season and beginning of summers. In 2022, Lohri will be celebrated on 13th, Jan, 2022.
People create bonfire at night. The bonfire is fed with til, gur, gajak etc and people walk around the bonfire as a tradition. Also, people dance and sing traditional songs to celebrate the festival.
